Halloween Eyeball Nail Art

I’ve done so many Halloween nail designs this month! Two challenges at once was probably too much, but I’m enjoying it so far and I’m almost done. This is my second eyeball design of the month (you can see the first here), and this one was much easier and quicker to do. I kept the eyeballs very simple, using black and white acrylic paint to create dots. For the background, I attempted to create fluid nail art using the Sinful Colors Hypnotic Transforming Top Coat in Redrum and Sinful Colors High Strung, a lime green. Because I did these straight on the nail, the effect doesn’t look as good as when doing it on a silicone mat, but I don’t mind too much since I wanted the eyes to be the focus anyway. In experimenting with the fluid art top coats, I noticed some worked better than others, such as the light and dark blues. The red and gray were so-so, and the purple won’t work at all. I’m not sure if I just got a bad one from ebay, but the purple will not create any cells. I really love the fluid art look though, so I’ll be trying these out more.
